Japan: People Hide Under Tables At Bowling Alley In Ishikawa During M7.5 Earthquake
A strong earthquake hit the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture on January 1. According to USGS, the magnitude was 7.5. Shaking was felt in widespread areas, and tsunami warnings were issued for several prefectures along the Japan Sea Coast. At least 78 are dead in Ishikawa, as of latest reports.
