SPEECH - New Metro-North Train Stations Announced For Bronx

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – DECEMBER 9: (SPEECH) (Part 4 of 4) Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer's (D-NY) speaks about the high dollar cost of the Penn Access metro expansion project and the funding obtained through federal dollars from the Biden administration's infrastructure bill as New York Governor Hochul and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Corporation (MTA) announce groundbreaking for Metro-North Penn Station access project to bring four new stations to the Bronx borough on December 9, 2022 in New York City. The Penn Access metro expansion project will include four new Metro-North stations connecting for the first time the East Bronx to Penn Station in Manhattan, Connecticut, and Westchester County. The four new stations will be in Hunts Point, Parkchester/Van Nest, Morris Park, and Co-Op City and will be accessible to all in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
