Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York says in floor remarks resolution to organize second impeachment trial against former President Donald Trump was adopted that he regretted that 45 Republicans had voted for spurious constitutional objection to the in trial which was deeply irresponsible, the trestle two weeks away, the objection completely debunked by over 150 constitutional scholars representing the entire breath of the political spectrum could including prominent conservatives, but only five Republicans were willing to take a principled stand against the reckless and ill-advised effort by members eager to excuse Trump's campaign to overturn the election and apparently his incitement to a mob that all experienced in the capital, simply telling colleagues to make a mistake there would be a trial and evidence against Trump would be presented in living color for the nation and everyone to see once again, no one able to avert their gaze from what Trump said and did and the consequences of his actions.
