Kosovo President Osmani visits North Macedonia

SKOPJE, NORTH MACEDONIA - APRIL 26: Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani paid an official visit to North Macedonia on Wednesday, April 26, and was welcomed by her Macedonian counterpart Stevo Pendarovski in the capital Skopje. The leaders had a meeting with their delegations following the welcoming ceremony. Kosovo announced on Monday that the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe approved its membership request and forwarded it to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Spain, Serbia, Romania, Georgia, the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus, Hungary and Azerbaijan voted against the application. Greece, Slovakia, Moldova, Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina abstained from voting, while Germany, Andorra, Albania, Austria, Belgium, United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Croatia, Netherlands, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Slovenia, and Türkiye supported the application.
