Panoramic view of Mostar and Karagöz Mehmed Bey Mosque (in Bosnian "Karađoz-beg") from Stari Most in Mostar, cultural and economic capital of Herzegovina region, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Karagözbey Mosque was built around mid-16th century by Mehmed Bey Karagöz and the famous Turkish architect, Mimar Sinan. The mosque was almost destroyed during the Bosnian War in the early 1990s. It was repaired and renovated between 2002 and 2004.
