Jagged Peaks in Sabino Canyon. Sabino Canyon was a another location that a friend and a volunteer park ranger at the nearby national park had mentioned that I really should head out to enjoy. With the hot June temperatures that day, walking or hiking did not make any sense for an afternoon in the canyon. So that friend and I decided to just pay and enjoy a ride... "n"nWhat caught my interest when I captured this interest was definitely the nearby jagged peaks and ridge-line of the Santa Catalina Mountains. What I also liked was the different colors and hues of the large rocks and boulders, along with the desert vegetation. There was a contrast of browns, yellows, and greens. As one followed the image, one can see different ridge-lines cutting across from one angle to another and then another set of mountain peaks far off in the distance.
