A Different View and Look to Thimble Peak. I'd seen this peak quite a few times over the earlier part of the day and day prior. Most of the time, it was this sole peak, cap, or craggy summit along a ridge-line that I'd seen. Here and up close, it had a slightly different look not far from the turn-around point in Sabino Canyon. What I tried to capture here wasn't just a look to that distinctive summit, but a look across this mountain/desert landscape to nearby hillsides with rocks and boulders and finally a few other jagged peaks before seeing the summit of Thimble Peak.
