The Bonhams auction house announces the sale in New York of a major portrait of the Spanish painter Pablo Picasso painted in March 1937 entitled “La Femme au Beret Mauve”. This painting has not been exhibited in public since it was purchased in 1984 from a New York gallery by the current owners. This painting will be offered at the Bonhams Impressionist and Modern Art sale in New York on Thursday, May 13 with an estimated sale price between 10,000,000 and15,000,000 Dollars.
