MAR 31 1959, APR 2 1959; Two Strikes And You're Out in Arvada "Beisbool" Game; Baseball, to Mrs. Joyce Rath's fifth-grade class at Lawrence School in Arvada, is "beisbol" and you play it right in the classroom. The pitcher, Tim Sullivan (back to camera), pulls out pictures for the batter, Ronnie Warner, and catcher, Yvonne De Fur, to identify and pronounce in Spanish. the rules are akin to those of American's national sport, except that you're out after only two strikes and the catcher competes with the batter to see who can find the right Spanish word first, and thereby get on base. Boy standing at right is the umpire. Others standing are on base, except for the teacher, who watches the play from corner in rear.; (Photo By Bob Beegle/The Denver Post via Getty Images)
