Capitol River Relief

UNITED STATES - APRIL 06: A trash barge for Capitol River Relief, a six week effort to clean the Capitol's rivers, which began today. It is an annual project on the Potomac and Anacostia rivers, run by a coalition of environmental groups, businesses, government, and commnuity organizations. Since its start in 2004, more than 300 tons of trash have been removed. This year, special trash containment booms will be installed on storm drains to prevent additional pollution.
