The car which carried the have-a-go heroes who gave chase to armed thieves after a robbery at a Bradford travel agents last night stands in a Bradford side street after one of the pursuers was shot and killed by the robbers. * West Yorkshire Police said the 36-year-old victim and a friend drove after the suspects' car before a confrontation in which he was blasted once in the chest with a handgun. The shooting, at tea-time yesterday, happened near the junction of Thornton Road and Jowett Street, in Bradford, about a mile from where the travel agency, in Lumb Lane, had been robbed just minutes earlier.
