Las Geel, an African "Lascaux".
The anthropomorphic figures (human representations) are small heads, rounded or punctiform, or slightly off to the side and placed atop conical chest sometimes displaying horizontal lines evoking the rings of a necklace. The head is sometimes circled by a crown of dots or short dashes. In some cases, a sort of feather is visible on the side or summit of the head. The lower limbs are fusiform, blended or separated by a line (as on this image). The upper limbs are filiform and always outstretched. (Photo by Patrick AVENTURIER/Gamma-Rapho via Getty Images)
