Mosul, IRAQ: US soldiers of Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment keep watch on a group of Iraqi men for questioning during a large operation launched in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, late 23 April 2007. Three Iraqis were detained while few mobile telephones, dozens of wires and adhesive tapes were confiscated, which the military said will be used to make roadside bombs. Supported by tanks and combat helicopters, US troops have launched a massive house-to-house raid in a restive neighbourhood where they have been coming under roadside bomb attacks almost every day, military sources said.
