Palaung Fight Endless Drug War in Myanmar
SHAN STATE, MYANMAR - 2013/10/30: Soldiers from the TNLA (Ta'ang National Liberation Army, Ta'ang is another word for Palaung) walk through a Palaung village.
The TNLA, created in 2009 claims about 1,500 soldiers and another 1,500 trained villagers. Alongside with other ethnic groups, the TNLA fights the government troops in order to get some kind of autonomy within a federal system for the Palaung populated area in north-west Shan State.
