STORMI GREENER¥ sgreener@startribune.com Minneapolis, MN. 1/19/2006--Activities co-ordinator Stephanie Jones sits at a table of 6 who are playing dominoes, the only man at that table was 97 yr. old Jacob Collins who was a little cranky today and was telling others to get going with the play...some needed a little more help than others. To help Minnesotans better select a nursing home, the state today (Friday 1/20) launches a Nursing Home Report Card ranking each of the state's 400 nursing homes. It is one of the most sophisticated programs in the nation. Each of the homes is awarded up to five stars on the eight measures, and a Web tool helps people find the highest ranking homes nearby.
