Residents of the small Bavarian village of Oberammergau perform during dress rehearsals at Oberammergau's Passion Play theatre on March 10, 2010. The Oberammergau Passion play, first staged in 1634 to ward off a plague epidemic, has been staged every ten years since then, with few interrruptions.
