Continuing Tragedy of the Bhopal Gas Disaster
Protests mark the 20th anniversary of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. The world's worst industrial disaster from the Union Carbide of India Limited pesticide plant in Bhopal, occurred on the night of December 3, 1984 when over 3000 people immediately died and another 15,000 lost their lives later with over 500,000 suffering from the injuries.
