HONG KONG, HONG KONG: People cross a crowded street in Hong Kong's busy shopping and tourist district of Tsim Sha Tsui 07 November. The deep bite of the Asian economic crisis has severely impacted Hong Kong, with statistics released today showing a 28.8 percent drop in tourism receipts in the first nine months of the year.
