ROMANIA-HISTORY-ROMAN EMPIRE-REENACTMENT-ROMULA FEST
Participants wear Roman Empire military outfits prior to the reenactment of a battle against Dacians during the "Romula Fest", a historic reenactment festival in Resca village, Romania, on September 2, 2023. Resca, named Romula by the time of the Roman Empire, was the capital of Dacia Malvensis province. On the site of archaeologic diggings takes place every year a festival where reenactment groups from around the country gather to live a couple of days like Romans and Dacians. They stage battles, hold handicraft workshops, archery lessons, interactive military demonstrations, ancient dances and gastronomy.
