World's Oldest Man Celebrates His 113th Birthday

GREAT FALLS, MT - SEPTEMBER 19: Nicole Scott shows a "birthday wish" sent by a first grade class to Walter Breuning, due to celebrate his 113th birthday on September 21, at the Rainbow retirement home September 19, 2009 in Great Falls, Montana. Breuning, born September 21, 1896 in Melrose Minnesota, inherited the title of world's oldest man when Henry Allingham of England died July 18. He said he has received more than 100 birthday cards and congradulatory letters during the past week. Breuning moved to Great Falls in 1918 with the expansion of the railroad and worked in the railroad business for 50 years. He says he stays healthy by eating just two meals per day and exercises by strolling the halls of the retirement home with the aid of a walker.
