The Dead End Kids

(Original Caption) Nearly a quarter-century older, the movies famed Dead End Kids are still recognizable as they pose with TV master of ceremonies Ben Alexander (3rd form right) in Hollywood. Reunited on ABC- TV's " About Faces," the "KIDS", (left to right) Bernard Punsly, Leo Gorcey, Bobby Jordan, Huntz Hall, and Billy Halop shot to fame in the 1937 play, then movie of New York's slums, "Dead End," and went on to star as heroes through years of assorted films, many of which are still popular on TV. Except for Punsley, a doctor in Redondo Beach, California, films, TV, or nightclubs.
