Ukrainian Forces Reclaim Territory Around Kharkiv

KUPIANSK, UKRAINE - Members of the Kraken Regiment, a group of military volunteers established in Kharkiv in March, work from a forward command center managing an operation as fighting continues on September 24, 2022 in Kupiansk, Ukraine. Kupiansk is a front-line town where Ukrainian forces have pushed back Russians across the Oskil River in recent days, but it remains under attack. The Kraken Regiment, founded by Azov Battalion veterans following the Russian invasion, answers to the Ukrainian defense ministry while not being part of the country's regular armed forces.
