Israeli Captures Leopard In His Bedroom
SDE BOKER, ISRAEL - MAY 28: In this handout image distributed by Israel's Nature and Parks Protection Authority (NPA), Arthur Du Mosch, a 49-year-old Israeli tour guide who immigrated to Israel from Amsterdam in The Netherlands 22-years-ago, holds a wild leopard by the scruff of its neck in his bedroom early morning May 28, 2007 at Sde Boker in Israel's southern Negev Desert. Du Mosch captured the aging feline as it woke him up in the middle of the night. He says the leopard, who has been hunting domestic cats and dogs in the area recently, had chased his house cat into the bedroom through an open window. Du Mosch held the leopard till park rangers arrived and took it to a veterinary medical center. The animal, which is showing signs of old age and malnutrition, will most likely be transferred to a wild animal reserve in southern Israel after receiving medical treatment.
