Mount Vernon Scenics
ALEXANDRIA, VA - APRIL 21, 2018: A hand wrought HL hinge on the door of a tomb which originally held the remains of George Washington at Mount Vernon, the plantation owned by Washington, the first President of the United States, in Fairfax County, Virginia, near Alexandria. In 1831, Washington's remains were transferred from the old deteriorating family vault to a nearby new brick tomb. The estate and Washington's restored home are today owned by The Mount Vernon Ladies' Association, a philanthropic organization, and is open to the public. (Photo by Robert Alexander/Getty Images)
