EastEnders actress Elaine Lordan arrives at St Albans Magistrates Court , to face charges of drink-driving. The 36-year-old, who plays Lynne Slater in the BBC1 soap, was appearing at court charged with driving her Audi unlawfully on the A1 near Barnet, north London, shortly before midnight on July 3, 2001. 30/12/2003 The Eastenders star is to seek professional help for her drink problem, according to her mum. Lordan, who plays Lynne Slater, has been dogged by reports of her booze-fuelled behaviour. Her barmaid mum Bernadette tells this week's Closer magazine: "Elaine drinks too much.
