Dr Feda Mulhem manslaughter
Dr Feda Mulhem, who admitted the manslaughter of a teenage cancer sufferer by mistakenly ordering a junior colleague to administer a fatal injection into his spine, walks free from Nottingahm Crown Court, after being sentenced to 18 months imprisonment, having already served 11 months on remand and therefore more than half of his 18 month sentence. Wayne Jowett, 18, was recovering from leukaemia when Dr Feda Mulhem made a fatal error and a powerful anti-cancer drug was injected into the young apprentice mechanic through his spine, instead of into a vein.
