Nottinghamshire coroner Dr Nigel Chapma today recorded a verdict of accidental death in the case Mr Jowett, saying: "We can put a man on the moon but why can't we find a safe method to prevent these deaths." 30/6/03: Dr Feda Mulhem, 35, who denies unlawfully killing teenage cancer patient Wayne Jowett, 18, who died at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre after he was injected with a chemotherapy drug in his lower spine as part of his recovery from leukaemia. A jury at Nottingham Crown Court has been told by the proescution that Dr Mulhem failed to check the drugs that were being administered. 08/07/03 : Dr Feda Mulhem (R) leaves Nottingham Coroner's Court.
