APR 4 1968, APR 7 1968 Church Takes Services to Prisoners Because the inmates at the Colorado State Penitentiary in Canon City couldn't attend services at the Jerusalem Church of God in Christ ct 2801 Milwaukee St. in Denver, members of the church led by Bishop F. Kelly decided to take the services to Canon City. In foreground, from left, are Bishop Kelly, his wife Lily Ray, and Mrs. Hattie L. Collins, program chairman of the church. Kelly preached and the church choir, in background, sand at the special services. Purpose of the trip was "to propagate the cause of Christ," Bishop Kelly explained.
