DIYARBAKIR, TURKIYE - MAY 20: A cannibal grasshopper (Bradyporus), which have been applied to The International Union for Conservation of Nature to be included in the red list of endangered species, is seen in Diyarbakir, Turkiye on May 20, 2024. Cannibalistic grasshoppers, which are rarely seen in places above 1000 altitude in nature, feed on grass as well as eating the male to make the egg better quality, were recorded in the extinct volcanic Karacadag at an altitude of 1957, located within the borders of Diyarbakir, Sanliurfa and Mardin of Turkiye in 2020.
